Ram
Champions LLC is established under the laws of the State of
South Carolina in the USA. Our main office is located in
Columbia, the State Capital. The
company is created to provide a base in the USA through which
coffee farming pools in Africa can export high quality coffee
beans to the United States and other country-destinations
worldwide.
To
achieve this stated purpose, Ram Champions LLC is in
partnership with Central Coffee Farmers Association (CECOFA),
whose head office is located in Uganda. CECOFA is a farmer-owned organization operating out of Wakiso
District in Central Uganda. Formerly known as Small Farmers’
Group, the organization was
founded in 2005 by a small group of entrepreneurial coffee farmers. Today, CECOFA has a membership pool of over
13,500 farmers in central Uganda. The organization is currently extending it's reach to other parts of Uganda and to other countries in Africa as well.
CECOFA is certified to trade in Fair Trade Uganda, Fair Trade
International and 4C.
At
Ram Champions LLC, we provide the sole point-of-sale for
CECOFA coffee beans destined for the United States of America.
We also provide opportunities for our African coffee growers
to market their produce to other parts of the world. In
providing a point-of-sale in the continental USA, we take over
international shipping risk that our clients in the country
would otherwise have assumed; and in so doing, eliminate a key
and expensive logistic burden on US buyers, while adding value
and cost-cutting incentives to coffee buyers in the country.
Our collective expertise and single purpose
drive make us unique in the US coffee industry. It means that we are deeply committed to the sustainability of quality coffee beans,
with no distractions. Ram Champions LLC is dedicated to receiving and delivering coffee in a timely manner, in the quality and quantity desired, while easing out supply-side fluctuations through appropriate market, risk and contract management.
We have stored capacity
to fill orders placed by our client at any given time. Whether your goal is in multiple container
spread over time or that you desire stable and fixed-price monthly buys, we are
structured to meet your needs.
